Beth Sar Shalom (House of the Prince of Peace) is a community of Jews & Gentiles who are discovering the Jewish context of the Bible together, believing that Yeshua (Jesus) is the Messiah. Beth Sar Shalom serves as a meaningful home for Jewish & Gentile believers that desire to worship the Messiah & fellowship together within a more culturally Jewish context.
Steven Ger grew up in a Jewish family in Brooklyn, New York and Aberdeen, New Jersey, where he was educated in both church and synagogue due to his distinctive heritage as a Jewish Christian. He is the founder and director of Sojourner Ministries, an organization dedicated to exploring the Jewish heart of Christianity.
Don Jones is an ordained minister of the Gospel and Executive Pastor at Beth Sar Shalom. He sees his role as a servant of the congregation as the Lord Himself said, "but the one who is the greatest among you must become like the youngest, and the leader like the servant." (Luke 22:26b) He is quoted again in Matthew 23:11 as saying, "The greatest among you shall be your servant".
Scott Cook is the Director and Founder of Abiding in Agape Ministries, a non-profit, grace focused ministry that leads believers out of the bondage of religion and legalism into the reality of the grace, agape relationship with the Father. He is a Graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas, MDiv Biblical Languages (1996) and has spent thirty years teaching and preaching in large and emerging churches.
